Device Power Control

Screenshot for device power control

Shell Script

This script allows you to power off your hard drives (or any drive) whenever they won’t be in use. You can also power up drives that have been shut down and unmounted. All of this can be done in a few short and easy steps.

Careful though, if you don’t know what device you are shutting down, don’t do it! You might end up shutting off your root drive.

Depends on: zenity, hdparm, xterm
